Earthquake Brace + Bolt (EBB) helps homeowners lessen the potential for damage during an earthquake. EBB offers a grant of up to $3,000 toward a seismic retrofit for qualifying older houses.
In addition to the $3,000 grant, the state introduced a new grant specifically for low-income homeowners (income up to $72,080 per household), as funding permits. This program has helped thousands of California homeowners complete seismic retrofits!

Our Qualifying Individual is Christian Alexander Ehlers. Christian has been a licensed General Contractor in California since 2017 and has worked on construction projects since 2013, when he worked as a project manager for one of the largest contractors in the conventional and alternative fueling space. In that role, he oversaw projects ranging from small repair projects to multi-million-dollar ground-up builds of both civilian and military fueling stations. He also worked as the senior project manager at a company that designed, installed and maintained fire station alerting and dispatch systems, working with customers and contractors across the country on dozens of successful deployments.
Our General Superintendent is James Russell Mayer ("Russell"). Russell has been in the construction business for over twenty years, working on every aspect of construction, from swinging a hammer to working with plan checkers and building inspectors. Over that time, he successfully completed countless kitchen and bathroom remodels, home additions, free-standing structure additions, and Accessory Dwelling Units.
We believe in relationships, and maintain close relationships with subcontractors, architects, landscapers, and material suppliers that we leverage into ensuring success on every project.
